PASTOR GRANT WILLIAMS:

Grant and his wife Kellie moved to Southwest Florida in 2003 in order to answer God’s call on their life into full-time ministry.  Grant was raised in the home of Jack & Mazie Williams who pastored  Assembly of God churches in Minnesota as well as Michigan.  Grant grew up in Southeastern Michigan until he went into the United States Airforce in 1987.  He was stationed in Panama and served during the Noriega takeover.  In 1988 he married his high school sweetheart, Kellie, and they were stationed at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.  Upon his honorable discharge, he went to work for EDS and then worked as a successful general contractor in SE Michigan for a number of years.  In 1999, after a near death experience with six blood clots in his lungs, Grant heeded God’s call to ministry at which time he gave up his business, sold his home, and moved his family to Fort Myers, Florida.  During this time Grant was ordained with the Assemblies of God and continues to hold his credentials with them.

He served as an associate pastor of a large A/G church until the Lord directed him to leave and plant a church in the Fort Myers area.  He and Kellie have two children, Zachary, who is a freshman in college and Paige, who is a sophomore in high school.

PASTOR KELLIE WILLIAMS:
Kellie grew up in Southeast Michigan in a typical upper middle class home.  Although her parents had a walk with the Lord in her early years, they backslid during much of her childhood and early adolescence and as a result Kellie didn’t know the Lord.  She was a “typical unsaved teenager” until she got radically born again in January of 1988 at a youth rally.  In December of that year she married her high school sweetheart, Grant and they lived happily ever after…..not!  The first years of their marriage were filled with the typical ups and downs until Grant nearly died at the age of 30 at which time things began to radically change.  The Lord got a hold of both of their hearts and things have never been the same since!  It was shortly after this that Kellie and Grant both sensed the call to full-time ministry.

In 2002 they moved to Fort Myers, Florida and plugged into the local Assembly of God church and volunteered in a number of ways.  Subsequently, Grant was hired as an associate pastor where they remained until the fall of 2009 when they took a step “out of the boat” and planted Living Word Christian Church (non-denominational)  in Fort Myers, Florida. Together they share ministry responsibilities and a passion to see lives transformed, young & “more mature” alike!  But her main areas of ministry are to the women and youth .

Kellie has been ministering to women both locally and abroad in a very “real” and transparent way encouraging and inspiring them to pursue the abundant, effective, spirit-filled life that God has in store for every believer.  She is passionate about His Word and His people and desires to see believers walk in victory!  In order to confirm her call, Kellie received her ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God and continues to pursue further credentialling.
